TruTrus Innovation

Alliance TruTrus has a long history and well-earned reputation of developing solutions to industry demands. These inventions include the Panel 96 truss system, "E" Block bearing and supporting hanger connections, and now the Alliance TruTrus Hybrid system.

General Application Notes:

Generally speaking, truss spans in the 40' to 50' range at depths ranging from 36" to 48" will afford the most economical system for applications where grid spacing determination is flexible. Shorter truss spans are also economical, but may result in additional column and carrying beam costs. Longer/deeper truss spans up to 68' span and 54" depth are also available, but require higher grades of material and even triple chords for higher loads. Contact your Alliance TruTrus Representative for assistance with your specific application requirements.

The Alliance TruTrus Hybrid system offers many advantages that make it a very adaptable system. For example, we utilize laminated chords where heavy diaphragm nailing, such as double row nail spacings, concentrated loads or axial loading make them a necessity. Triple chords and tapered trusses are also utilized to achieve the minimum profile truss where headroom or building overall height restrictions result in tight framing cavities. These special trusses can even be mixed into an overall system of non-special trusses, providing the client with a high-strength, economical system that is both load and profile efficient.
